Michael Corlo

Romance scam

Asheville, North Carolina

This guy used the very same "script" on me at a dating site. Exactly. I met him in Sept. of 2012, and am sad to say he got a fair amount of money out of me. This continued through to Dec. of 2012, then I said no to him. Told him his cash cow was milked dry. The day he was supposed to go pay off someone at a bank and release his millions, I got an email from his "daughter" saying he was in the hospital and dying, so send more money or she would get raped by the dr's there. Now, this is what I want to clear up, because of some of the dates I'm seeing. Obviously he was working me and another woman at the same time, because he had the other woman send me $2000 and I forwarded it to him. This was in Dec 2012. He said the money was from his daughter's friend's mother in Chicago. I've reported him to the FBI Internet Crimes Division, but obviously he is very slippery. Wish I had done my homework first, because I still suffer from his theft to this day. The last thing he told me, after I had called him out on the scam and how it had left me near to penniless, he said "You will survive, won't you?" How do people like this get away with this and why on earth can't somebody catch the maggot?
